- Is this GVP board plugged into the expansion slot on the left side of
- the A500? A time ago I searched for an internal (CPU socket) turbo board
- which locates the memory in the autoconfig space, so that my A590
- would not speed down, but did not success in finding any.

- The turbo boards I know, have 32bit fast ram outside the ZII adress space.
- As my A590 is using DMA to speed up (well, 1.2MB/s), it would loose
- performance (maybe to 500k/s), because these boards allow no DMA to
- the 32bit fast ram. If the SCSI controller is *on* the turbo board,
- DMA is possible in most cases, because the data (SCSI <-> memory)
- does not have to go via the A500 motherboard (ZII).
